The read-a-thon encourages students to embrace reading, logging their reading minutes while family and friends have the opportunity to pledge financial support for our school.
Read-a-thon packets with instructions and pledge sheets will be handed out to each student at the start of the event (beginning the week of March 11), but here are some tips to help make the event a success:
You can support your children's participation by helping them:
Set a reading goal
Gather pledges from family, friends and neighbors
Track their daily reading minutes
Return packets to PTO desk with donations inside the envelope

Read lots of cool books! Expand your mind! Earn cool prizes below! Make our school a better place!

Raise $15 - Pick an item from our prize box
Raise $25 - Pick an item from our prize box + ice cream
Raise $50 - All of the above + $5 tab at the PTO food corner
Raise $100 - All of the above + 10 pizza tickets for use on pizza Thursdays
Top Reader - shout out on the reader board + $20 Barnes & Noble Gift Card
Top Fundraiser - shout out on the reader board + $50 Amazon Gift Card
